Bebe made some remarks that pushed the Kipepeo hitmaker to prove that he’d given out cars to more people before.
In 2020, Bebe Cool, real name Moses Ssali, gave Ronnie a Toyota Mark X and his manager Ronnie Mutabazi a Mercedes Benz C200.
Speaking to the media, the Gagamel Crew boss noted that he bought the car for Producer Ronnie as an appreciation for the work he had done for the industry over the years. Both the producer and the manager have worked with Bebe Cool for over a decade each.
While he said he had done it in public to inspire others, Chameleone, who also spoke to the media after Bebe, said giving in public is showing off. He considers it disrespectful to the person you’re giving.
As if trying to prove a point, Chameleone also revealed that he had bought for and gifted some of his old cars to people in his music camp, friends and family members, including his wife.
Chameleone said he bought a car for his brothers AK47 and Weasel. His friend Karima Jamiru got a Toyota Premio. He also gave his manager Robert Jackson Nkuke, alias Mutima — a Benz and many cars for his ex-wife, Daniella Atim. The Valu Valu hitmaker said he gave his first car to the Amarula family comedian and singer Eddy Kigere.
Meanwhile, a year before Bebe Cool bought cars for the aforementioned duo, he had also given his sidekick Richard Kleberson a Toyota Alphard. It’s important to note that Ronnie produced Mateka and Champion for Jose Chameleone.
