It is very important to always know why you do the things you do. It helps you cope with the speed of life and know what you need to get there before its too late.
You can never go far when you do not know why you need to get there. Until you answer the ‘why’ question. The ‘how’ space will always be blank as well. No one does something for nothing, there is always an aspect pushing you other wise you will not go very far in life.
The question here is, what motivates you?
Take an example, if its a career, when someone wants to be a doctor. The weight of their reason will keep them fighting against all odds to be a doctor. A person who wants to become a doctor to impress people and another who wants it because he needs to help people will have very different endings.
It is so easy to give up if your only reason is to impress some one. What if they die, what happens to your dreams?
Your motivation equals how much effort you put in to get there. Every great person had reasons for doing the things they did, or do. Most of these reasons were in most cases not selfish but rather helpful to the community. At the end of the day, you need all the help you can get to reach your destination.
Your vision pulls the people that help you. and if it’s not good enough, then you will only get where you want in your head.
