The singer had been booked to perform alongside Mudra. However on the D-day, she locked herself inside a room and refused to come out.
This led to an angry outburst amongst fans who had paid their hard earned ‘kyeyo’ dimes to watch her perform. They cursed and had it been Uganda, bottles, broken chairs and teargas would have ensued.
These fans added that she shouldn’t even be voted to the UMA office if she can fail such a small task. They further added that they could have solved her financial problems if it was the problem.
The Boom Party singer through her Facebook page however apologized to her fans in Dubai. She further added that if the agreement between the promoter and artist is not honored, then there is no business.
“My sincere apologies go out to the fans in Dubai. Music is a business for me, so if there’s no business, there’s no music. When you work with people who keep ignoring the terms and conditions, you have no choice than to stand your ground and let them decide. By the grace of God, I and my team are back home safe and getting ready for Fusion Eco Resort Hotel & Auto Spa this Friday,” she said through her Facebook page.
Some of her followers however said that this is so unfair to the fans. This is because the artists disappear after these fans have paid for the shows.
Cindy then said that its always an agreement between the promoter and the artist. When one party fails to honor the terms amd conditions, it’s the fans that fall victim.
