Sammy Okanya, a comedian from the comedy group ‘The Mighty Family’ caused quite a stir in the country in both politics and showbiz last year.

The comedian self-kidnapped himself and vindicated Comedy Store boss Alex Muhangi but was later exposed. He then fled the country only to reappear while getting married to an old Caucasian woman.

He’s now revealed that it was this woman that married him.

The comedian says that had he been working, he would have married her. However, he was out of work and therefore accepted to be married. Sammy also said that as long as he’s happy and healthy and it’s his wife, people should let him be.

“She’s my wife and I love her so much. She chose me from the rest and put me aside. I agree she’s the one who married me but had I been working, it would have been me to marry her. We were however not working for a period of two years. But she has not given me any disease and besides I’m living life big and large, a life of my dreams,” he said.

According to Sammy Okanya, he was also looking for documents to leave the country. This is because Uganda has no good thing in it and everyone is trying to run away.

The comedian also revealed that there was no beef with comedy store boss Alex Muhangi. They just differed in opinion because Muhangi is on the ‘dictator’s’ side and they on the ‘people’s side.’

He also revealed that they didn’t clash with fellow comedian MC Kapale who was a tight friend of theirs. They also differed in opinions and Kapale is too old to chill with them the young boys.
