Comparing Navio And Gravity Omutujju Is A Great Offence – VJ Junior

Film translator and politician Matovu Joy Smart more known as VJ Junior has come out to reveal how comparing musicians, Gravity Omutujju and Navio is a great offense. This is after the UBC presenter announced their concerts.

Both singers have staged their concerts on the same date. Gravity will be live in the Okwepicha concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval on the 2nd of August.

Navio on the same day will be celebrating 20 years in the music industry at the Kampala Arena in Nsambya.

Announcing these concerts, Calvin called it a battle of Hip-Hop heavyweights. The TV personality said that “Two Hip hop heavyweights Set concerts on the same date Ugaflo vs money fl,o” alongside these musicians artwork.

VJ Junior took offense in this tweet especially being outed by someone like Calvin. According to the movie translator, Gravity is undoubtedly a good musician.

However, he can’t be categorized as a Hip-hop artist. Junior added that he thought the idea of calling Gravity a Hip-hop singer was long debunked. This is because he does Kidandali, more of the dancehall genre.

“I’m just so offended that a media personality like you my brother who has been in this game for a while cnt define who does Hip-hop and who does kidandali. Gravity is a gd artist that I agree but there is nothing hip-hop on him esp his sound. I thought that discussion was over even.”

Gravity rose to the scene as a Lugaflow rapper. He has quite a number of run-ins with some hip-hop singers such as GNL Zamba and Navio. However, as his career grew, he deviated from Luga Flow.

His style is more of a dancehall and has kept him at the top. The Tusimbudde singer learnt that Lugaflow wasn’t commercial. However, he still identifies himself as a rapper although few classify him as one.
