Renowned South African Designer David Tlale, pledged to open fashion academy in Uganda in a bid to improve quality of fashion industry.

David Tlale who was guest speaker at the first-ever fashionpreneur summit at Skyz Hotel, said want is failing most fashion entrepreneurs is lack of quality standard and production of excellence works.
He challenged local fashion entrepreneurs to improve their works in a bid to gain global quality excellence recognition market penetration.
“Most so-called fashion designers do not spend time to master their trade so as to provide excellent service, “David Tlale said.
Ugandan fashion enteprenuer Abryansz Ahumuza who is behind Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards slated for December 7, 2018 used the occasion to unveil nominees for the awards.
The summit focused on the role of fashion and the creative industry in shaping the future of the country’s economy giving guests an insight into the immense opportunities that the industry has to offer and how the youth can make use of such opportunities to create a livelihood for themselves.
