The Belgian National who is reportedly married to a Ugandan is currently challenging his deportation on ground saying it was illegal and unreasonable.

According to his statement, Mr Wim Vanhelleputte says he has the right to be heard and deserves to be treated fairly before government agency or anybody.

His statement partly reads that Mr Wim has never ever committed any crime or offence under the Ugandan laws. Therefore, there’s no reason why he should be deported.

Mr Wim Vanhelleputte however claims that he has been visiting Uganda regularly since the year 1993 and in 2000, he got married to a Ugandan citizen by the names of Adoso Babra Vanhelleputte whom he already has two children with.

He therefore wants the High Court to announce the his deportation by minister of Internal Affairs, Jeje Odongo was tyrannical, illegal and unreasonable.
