Don Wanyama has replaced Robert Kabushenga at Vision Group after he announced his resignation in January. Kabushenga’s resignation put a stop to his 14-year run with Vision Group. Through his Twitter handle, Kabushenga congratulated ‘Don’, as many peers commonly refer to him, for getting one of the best jobs in Uganda.

‘’I am proud of the success we achieved and the impact that we have had on society. This was possible because we worked together as a team,’’ Kabushenga wrote in a short note that circulated on his social media pages.
Kabushenga also took over the flag from William Pike in 2006. In recent rumours, sources said that they had preferred Wanyama as Kabushenga’s replacement for the job at New Vision.
Wanyama joins the team with vast experience of several years in the newsroom. He once served as the Managing Editor for Daily Monitor. He has also had many other key positions.
