Dr Jose Chameleone Reveals Why He Is The Biggest Ugandan Superstar

Ugandan music maestro, Dr Jose Chameleone, has revealed why he’s the biggest superstar in Uganda. When one talks about Ugandan music, the Forever singer’s name appears on most lists in the number one spot.

Whether he’s Uganda’s GOAT musically, will be a story for another day.

Appearing on a local TV interview, Chameleone said that he’s a superstar and not even a celebrity. This followed New Vision’s controversial list of the top 100 celebrities in Uganda 2022.

Chameleone said that he was able to be the best without any guidance. He’s gone ahead to be the best in an era where there are lots of channels and media to become a star.

Further, he said that he will be the best still even when new technology comes up.

“My brother Pallaso once asked me how I managed to do it in an era where there was nobody to guide me or learn from. And I told him that I’m just the best. I have been so in an era where it was difficult to make it out. Been the best in this era where there are things like social media to quickly make you a star. I will also be the best in case new technologies come,” the self-styled music doctor said.

On top of that, Chameleone called for prayers for his friend and fellow musician, King Saha. Saha who is a former Leone Island protégé was admitted a few days ago to hospital.

Rumors have it that he was referred to rehab because of heavy drug abuse.

He meanwhile has an upcoming concert titled Gwanga Mujje on the 10th of February 2023 at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
