Gravity Omutujju Maintains That Bebe Cool, Bobi Wine And Dr Jose Chameleone Are Outdated

Local rapper Gravity Omutujju has decided to stand by his earlier remarks in regards to Uganda’s top 3 music maestros, Bebe Cool, Bobi Wine and Dr Jose Chameleone.

During a press conference held yesterday, Gravity said that these have retired from the Industry. And their cacoon of being branded the top 3 should be done away with.

Gravity added that people should stop demeaning other artists by always praising these three like they own the industry.

For his case, Gravity acknowledged that these 3 sing better than him so much. But then this doesn’t mean that there are not others who are better than them and are being suffocated.

Gravity went ahead to say that these three currently are of no value to the Industry. Therefore when he says that the industry is better off without them, there is no crime that he would have made.

“When I said that the industry doesn’t need the three so-called big artists, I didn’t disrespect them. I simply told the truth. Stop telling us that we can’t sing like them or we shall never be like them. So what if they die, won’t the industry move on because they are the best? For my case, I might not be a better singer than them but then there are those who are being overshadowed by them. Take the example of Fik Fameica’s album, it’s currently trending on number one in Africa but none of them with their million followers have posted about it. Did you ever hear Bobi Wine talk about copyright law? They were therefore retired before I sent them into retirement,” said Gravity.

The singer even ended up shedding tears in this press conference. This is after he said that his critics and bloggers alike have been attacking his family because of his comments.

According to Gravity, everyone has his own opinion and he doesn’t rank the three as the best in the country.

They don’t even appear anywhere in his top 5 because they are no longer trending. Therefore, people should not criticize him over his list because anyone can make their own list.
