Eddy Kenzo Appears On New York Times Square For The Second Time

Eddy Kenzo is no doubt one of Uganda’s best musicians in history and at the moment. He is also arguably Uganda’s best musical export in the last couple of years. One can even argue the best of all times.

The Big talent CEO has gone ahead to scoop a number of international awards such as the prestigious BET that only he holds in East Africa.

The “Zigido” singer has also seen a number of achievements and historical feats. This might be miraculous for a simple boy from Masaka who grew up in the ghettos of Kampala.

Last week saw Kenzo launch his album dubbed as “Made in Africa” at Kampala Fairway Hotel. He got massive support from fellow musicians and other people in the entertainment industry as well as other well-wishers.

All these people have gone on to hail the album as a good one that every person should try to stream.

Over the weekend Kenzo took to his Twitter page to show his elation at how he had appeared on the famous New York times square.

“I’m on the #timessquare #billboard for the second time this time around for my latest album #madeinAfrica alongside #pimemusic partners. Go check out the no 1 album in Africa right now link in my bio ❤️🤝🙏🇺🇬” Kenzo tweeted.

The first time the singer appeared on the billboard was last year in September. He was promoting the African classic song “Missounwa” which he redid with Monique Seka.

This feat then made him the first Ugandan that ever appeared on the famous and prestigious New York Times square twice.
