It should be recalled that Harmonize was one of the performers at Kenzo’s sold-out Eddy Kenzo Festival at Kololo Independence Grounds over the weekend.
Harmonize added that he looked up to Kenzo way back before he even found global success. Besides, the idea of having a Festival for a concert was borrowed by the Big Talent boss from Harmonize.
The two also borrowed it from Nigerians who they saw performing in different countries such as the UK.
“My brother Kenzo is a role model to me and an icon of East African music. I started looking up to him many years ago before I myself found fame. The idea of him having a Festival was borrowed from my Afrobeats Festival I held in Tanzania a while ago. I was with him in the USA when we saw Nigerians performing and we wondered how they do it. We learnt that they first made sure to conquer their home countries before spreading out thus copying it too,” said the Konde Gang boss.
He also added that they have new music together which shall be getting released soon. The two first came up on a song titled Pull Up a while ago.
This song was supposed to have had Dr Jose Chameleone featured on it but Harmonize ditched him in favor of Eddy Kenzo.
