Social media users were treated to some surprise a few days ago after Kenzo posted a photo with Dr Hamza, the husband of his ex and baby mama, Rema Namakula. However, James Propa thinks Kenzo did it for publicity.
The singer has been dominating the news headlines for the past few weeks. However, this was mainly due to controversial remarks such as undermining Bobi Wine.
Therefore taking a picture with Hamza would help to take the spotlight off him for the attacks on Bobi Wine. He however advised him to release good music because stunts can’t work for long.
“That picture Kenzo took and posted with Hamza was just for publicity. He’s been in the news for quite long but most especially for undermining Bobi Wine. Well, Bobi might have fallen musically but he still holds influence and an attack on him can damage your career. Kenzo should know that even if he takes pictures with the entire Hamza and Rema family, we just want good music,” said James Propa.
Following Kenzo’s update, another singer Geosteady in a similar situation called upon Mr Henrie for the same gesture. Propa however said that for Geosteady, he badly needed Prima.
This is because his career had fallen off the radar. He last had a hit song many years ago. The return of Prima to his life has however resurrected his career and he’s now one of the most talked about musicians on social media.
