Erias Lukwago Reveals What Next After Dissolution Of The FDC Party

The lord mayor of Kampala Erias Lukwago has revealed what will be done once the dissolution of the FDC party is completed. It should be noted that the Katonga faction consists primarily of Dr. Col. Kiiza Besigye, Erias Lukwago and Amb. Wasswa Birigwa.

This team has been locked in a battle with the Najjanankumbi faction led by Amuriat and Mafabi.

The Katonga faction which was initially the founders of the party has resolved to dissolve the party. According to Lukwago, once this is done, they will continue with the struggle.

Additionally, the lord mayor said that the FDC in its current form does not represent any of the views of the founding members let alone the general population.

“The @FDCOfficial1, as it is now framed at Najjanankumbi, is repugnant to the philosophy, ideas, mission, and vision of not only the party’s founders but also the general membership and Ugandans at large. What is going to happen is to continue with the struggle because of the big elephant before us in the room,” said the lord mayor.

Additionally, the lord mayor said that the body of the party at Najjanankumbi has outlived its usefulness. That’s why they are trying to bury it. However, they still have the soul of liberation within them.

He also said that dissolution does not mean distraction. The major reason they want it gone is because they don’t want it sold to Mr. Museveni.
