Facebook Announced Its Fifth Data Centre Which Will Be Located In Fort Worth-Texas

The company announced on Tuesday that its fifth building data centre facility in fort-worth, Texas is under construction, it will be worth $1 billion and completely powered by a nearby wind farm with 100% clean energy.

The new data centre facility will use wind power from large wind farm which is also currently under construction on approximately 17,000 acres of land, 130 kilo metres from the data centre, facebook agreed to buy the power from 200 megawatts wind farm to help bring the clean power project on to the grid.

This is the fifth facility for the social network giant and it’s likely to build more in the near future, so that it can be able to store everyone’s data.

It is likely to be a very powerful data centre!
