Former UAE Boss Arrives In Country To Attend Former Housemaid’s Wedding

Famous United Arab Emirates (UAE) social media influencer Khalid Al Ameri arrived in the country to follow up on their promise to their former house help. They promised to attend the wedding of their former house girl.

Khalid and his wife Salama have gained a big international following on social media for creating funny and lighthearted videos of their everyday life. They also share stories of inspiration and triumph.

In December 2020, the couple shared a video on their social media platforms seeing off their maid Sarah after her contract expired. Sarah had worked for the couple for six years before she departed from them and they had grown very fond of her and showed her a lot of kindness and affection.

In the video, the couple pledged to all expenses for Sarah’s wedding and also to be there and witness their friend’s big day. They did this as a sign of gratitude for her dedicated service to the family.

The video gathered millions of views

The video became an instant hit with over a million views on YouTube and Instagram. Yesterday, the UAE family landed on Ugandan soil to follow through on their promise.

During an interview at the Airport in Entebbe, Khalid described Sarah as a good ambassador for Uganda and her hospitality.

“It’s an honor to be here in the pearl of Africa. Sarah gave my family a very beautiful introduction to Uganda, she’s an incredible ambassador, she represents you with the utmost respect, dignity, work ethic and kindness. She never was a worker to our family but a sister,” Khalid said.

In other news, Uganda Tourism Board and Great Lakes Safaris booked Khalid and his family a three day all expenses paid courtesy visit to tourism site in Uganda. This will happen before Sarah’s wedding slated for this weekend.
