Led by the company’s executive manager, Benard Rwakihemba and brand ambassador, Alex Muhangi, Fortebet Recently visited Arua District Health Office.
They generously donated 15 million Ugandan shillings, which was received by Chief Administrative Officer Jude Mark Bukenya at the health office.
Following that, Uganda’s betting giant proceeded to Soroti and donated 20 million to St. Francis Rehabilitation Centre. On behalf of the center, the administrator, Sister Sylvia Akech received the money.
‘‘I want to thank Fortebet for the kind heart. We have received help that we needed ‘yesterday. Right away, we are going to use this money to purchase physiotherapy equipment’s,” Akech said.
“Giving back to the community is part of Fortebet. Not because we have too much but because we feel the pain of the people suffering,” Muhangi said shortly after handing over the money in Soroti.
Early this year it was joy as the betting giant donated lots of home-care items to the needy children in Kassanda district worth 6 million.
Housing over 30 children, most of whom are orphans, Homeland Christian Children’s Charity Home received 20 mattresses, 20 blankets and 5 bags of posho and rice. Fortebet also donated to the home 10 soccer balls.
