It was a moment of joy and happiness as Fortebet donated beddings and food to Mik Foundation orphanage home.
Handed over by the company ambassador, Alex Muhangi, Fortebet donated a number of mattresses and corresponding blankets plus rice.
According to the orphanage founder, Sophie Kati the home now houses 70 children and that the number has kept growing.
“I started this home in 2013 while I was working on Liberty Fm after seeing many kids without parents suffer. Every now and then, I would get information about children, especially orphans that were going through immense domestic problems,” Kati said, adding that, “With my 300k salary, my husband and I started this home. I am happy that big companies like Fortebet have joined me in giving these kids a better future.”
“We have come to show solidarity to this home because we are aware of how much it is of great help to the helpless and suffering kids. Our pledge is; this is the start, more will still come,” Muhangi said while handing over the donation.
