Galaxy FM’s Inappropriate Photos Costs Lady Her Job And Family

The past few days have seen social media users express their opinions in regards to Galaxy FM and it’s obscene social media conduct. A lady has come out to reveal that her own father disowned her because of the photos posted by the radio station of her.

Earlier on, Sheilah Gashumba who has been a victim of the media house’s antics called them out. She pointed out how they are ruining people’s lives just for social media engagement.

A lady whose photos made rounds on social media over the weekend came out to narrate her story. Apparently, her photos were taken at Galaxy’s Zzina Beach Fest at Coco Beach.

She was seen dancing with some guy and the radio station proceeded to add funny comments. According to her, she woke up to an email from her employer terminating her contract.

Later on, her father also caught wind of the photos and disowned her. As if that wasn’t enough, her fiance who was preparing to marry her also called off their wedding.

“Galaxy thank you so much for ruining my life. I woke up to an email from my workplace firing me and later on my own father disowned me. On top of that my fiance called off whatever we had all because of your pettiness,” she said while sobbing.

Additionally, she wondered why the radio station doesn’t first seek people’s consent before doing all these acts.

Some people are now calling for the Uganda Communications Commission to take action against the Kansanga-based station. The radio station’s photos, captions and videos always leave one’s head hanging in disbelief.
