General Sejusa Says Opposition Politicians Are Only Rewarded With Arrests

General David Sejusa aka Tinyefunza has revealed that Ugandan opposition politicians are only rewarded with being arrested. This is after he was asked by a social media user how a general like him would fight the Hon Mathias Mpuuga situation.

Sejusa said that Generals fight over big things such as power, ideology, security and war and not petty things such as political parties or money.

The former army general said that he was shocked when the former Leader of Opposition Prof. Ogenga Latigo revealed that he couldn’t be allowed to take his old laptop as he was leaving office years ago.

“General fight over bigger things; power, ideology, security & war. Not little pennies & dimes! FDC money, now NUP money eee! I listened to Hon Latigo who couldn’t even be rewarded with his old laptop. Governments don’t reward Opposition politicians, they ARREST THEM! UG politics,” said Sejusa.

It should be noted that the National Unity Platform has been embroiled in an internal dispute. This is spearheaded by the party president Hon Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu against the former LOP, Mathias Mpuuga.

NUP asked the Mukungwe-Nyendo MP to step down after allegations that he pocketed a whooping Shs500m.

Mpuuga on the other hand has stood his ground and said that he won’t resign from his Commissioner of Parliament position.

This is because he never partook in corruption as is alleged. However, it’s just a plot by a small minded group in the party fronting family interests that is mudslinging him.
