Abedi Pele who was once an African footballer of the year more that twice played most of his professional football in Europe, was appointed in a 5 member interim committee to help run the sport.
Pele was finally named to head the Association!
According to a government statement, other members include the president of Ghana League Clubs Association, Mr Fianoo Cudjoe, Kofi Osei who played for Ghana in 1960s who’s now a minister in church and the businessman Kofi Amoah.
Ghana’s High Court on Tuesday granted a petition from the Attorney General by the names of Akuffo Gloria to suspend Ghana Football Association ( GFA) and it’s executives.
Following the recent documentary were the head of Ghana Football Association Kwesi Nyantakyi was accused of asking for $1.1 million from Journalists, calling themselves investors who are trying to secure government contracts.
