The global death-toll from the deadly virus that first emerged in Wuhan China since January 2020 is almost 500,000.
A country like United States of America tops the world with the total number of 2.56 million positive cases, over 127,000 deaths and over 783,000 recoveries as the efforts to ease it’s economy were interrupted by abrupt new cases in sates like Florida.
Global covid-19 infections are also up across other parts of the world that have reopened their economies, with Europe now recording more than 2.6 million, according to AFP score.
On Sunday, China established a strict lockdown on almost 500,000 people in a province bordering Beijing to limit a fresh covid-19 cluster, which some of the officials said it was severe and complicated.
