Gogoro sets the price of its upcoming electric Smartscooters

Recently, the Taiwan based company Gogoro raised $150 million silently before revealing its finest electric smartscooter.  It finally disclosed the price for these machines.

The former HTC chief innovation officer and now the co-founder of Gogoro, Mr Horace Luke said while in the press conference yesterday that one smartscooter will be costing NTD$ 128,000 which is approximately ( $4,130 ) to order before its commercially available in Taipei city,Taiwan.

Gogoro smartscootrs are abit expensive!

Mr Horace also talked about the pre-order date which is 27th June and the shipping date will be on 25th July, however it’s a good deal where by the smartscooter might cost over 125cc gas scooter which is more than NTD $81,000 approximately ($2,621), the price is pretty high but its beneficially worth it, he continued and said that the government of Taiwan is granting subsidies on electric vehicle and after using them in two years, the cost of possessing a gas scooter will override the cost of possessing a smartscooter.

The company hasnt yet talked about which other countries it plans to expand to.
