News that reached our desk indicates that the Ugandan Government is in preparations to excite students by offering free internet to all Public Universities and government agencies across the country.
However, while addressing the 5th edition and launching the National Conference on Communications, Tumwebaze Frank, the Minister of Information Computer Technology (ICT), declared that he has a proposal in plan that was forwarded to the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC).
This program was aimed at sustaining and making it easier for students to save time when it comes to their studies. This will further help University Students to develop more ICT related programs without complaining about the Internet.
In fact, this is going to help a big number of students out there especially those doing ICT related courses to become entrepreneurs by developing software products that might create solutions for challenges of humanity.
