Comedian Hannington Bugingo To Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba On The Detention Of Kakwensa Rukirabashaija

Comedian Hannington Bugingo has come out to tell the Commander of the Lard Forces, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba to cool down and stop kidnapping people. The comedian tweeted in relation to author Kakwensa Rukirabashaija’s detention.

However, Bugingo said that Muhoozi should have sued Kakwensa if he felt offended. Hannington Bugingo further said that the first son can’t go on abducting everyone who talks about him simply because he’s the President’s son.

“Bwana @mkainerugaba, no 1 in this world is not talked about, If you we aggrieved by what @KakwenzaRukira posted about you, you should have sued him and the laws of the land would take precedence. U can’t jst be abducting anyone who says stuff abt u cse Oli Mwana wa “Mukulu”.”

Meanwhile, Kakwenza did not appear in court as planned. When Chief magistrate, Dr Singiza Douglas heard of Kakwenza’s complaint of ill health, he consequently ordered prison authorities to subject him to medical examination.

After ascertaining his health, they also should produce him in court within 10 days.

NUP leader Bobi Wine also condemned the way the military secretly brought Kakwensa to Court. Consequently, they charged him with disturbing the peace of Museveni and his son Muhoozi.

“After two weeks of incommunicado detention and torture, activist and author Kakwensa Rukirabashaija was secretly brought to court and charged with disturbing the peace of #DictatorMuseveni and his son. His lawyers denied access to him! The impunity!”
