I Sold Three Of My Houses To Pay Diamond’s WCB – Harmonize Declares

Former WCB key employee Rajab Abdul Kahali known by his stage names Harmonize was forced to sell 3 of his houses together with other properties to raise Tshs500 million ( approximately Ugx770,000 million) as a compensation after terminating his contract with Wasafi Classic Baby a couple of months ago.

During his interview with Clouds FM, the ‘Magufuli’ Hit maker mentioned that he has so far managed to pay part of the money and he’s hoping to finish the remaining balance very soon.

“Mkataba wangu ulikuwa unanitaka nilipe shilingi milioni 500 kama nikiondoka ili niweze kupata hakimiliki ya jina langu pamoja na nyimbo zangu. Hivyo sikuwa na hela kabisa. Nimeuza nyumba zangu tatu na baadhi ya mali, deni limebaki kidogo,” he said.

Despite the fact that his association with Wasafi Classic Records isn’t good as before, Konde Boy continued and said his decision to reposses his music rights is purposely to start working as an independent musician and to avoid criticizing WCB.

“Ukweli hatupo sawa na uongozi uliopita, sitaki kusema uongo, mahusiano yangu na uongozi uliopita sio kama zamani. Naomba niwashukuru kwa sababu wao ndo wamesababisha mimi kuwa hapa! Japokuwa kuna matatizo ya ndani ambayo siwezi kuyasema hadharani nimeamua kufanya kazi kama msanii huru lakini sipendi kuwavunjia heshima,” he added.

A couple of months after terminating his contract with WCB, Harmonize went ahead and created his own label dubbed ‘Konde Music Worldwide’.
