“I Am HIV+ And Still Infecting Men,”- Woman Reveals

Information available to us indicates that a lady believed to be HIV positive has deliberately been infecting men with the virus.

The lady revealed this in an Instagram post sighted by newslexpoint.com

She did it because she was bitter about being infected by other men.

In a video available to us, the lady named Harriet Vihenda Akunava known on Instagram as Akuanavaharriet was holding two different HIV test kits and all of them show she is positive for HIV.

She captioned the video, “It’s time I came clean. I was bitter for many months but I can’t do this anymore. I am HIV positive and have been infecting men. I’m sorry, forgive me. If I have hayad you, get tested.”

However, it’s not clear if she is a Ghanaian. Some comments that came under the post are not written in English

Related Incident;

Meanwhile, in a related incident, a Mombasa man got himself in trouble after he was accused of deliberately infecting a woman with HIV/AIDS. They accused him of committing the heinous act in Mishomoroni within Mombasa county on November 17, 2019.

Charges against him however indicated he willfully and intentionally had sexual intercourse with his accuser. He had full knowledge of his HIV positive status. If the complainant’s allegations prove to be true, the man could face up to 15 years behind bars in accordance with the Sexual Offences Act of Kenya.

The court however slapped the suspect with a KSh 500,000 bond with a surety of a similar amount. Court later charged and sentenced him to jail.
