Luckily for her, she had a very supportive family and friends. Some of the people who helped her whom she mentioned included Bad Black, Sure Deal, Mike Mukula among others.
Additionally, the singer said that she was addicted to cocaine and heroin. By the time she was taken to rehab, she was badly off and could barely recognize herself.
According to the singer, rehab is not an easy process. It’s trial and error as one only heals physically but not mentally. For this time round, she decided to seek God’s salvation and this is what has helped her to cross the line.
“I have been to rehab about 8 times and I kept relapsing. However, this time around, I’m better than before because I gave my life to God. People should know that rehabilitation is not an easy process. It only heals you physically but not mentally. By the time I got taken into rehab, I was badly off and high on heroin and cocaine. But with God’s grace, I’m slowly getting there,” she said.

It should be recalled that the Missed Call singer had become a public nuisance. She was at one time nabbed with another singer Qute Kaye stealing headlamps.
Kaye was also by then struggling with drug addiction and the two were linked to one another romantically.
Questioned about the Ginkese singer, Pretty Glo said that she doesn’t know what he’s up to. However, she’s glad that he’s very fine and also recovered from his struggles.
She also refused to comment on their relationship as she called him a father figure and mentor to her.
