I Have Never Written A Song For Myself – Carol Nantongo

Female musician Carol Nantongo has revealed that she’s never written a song for herself. Speaking to a local radio station, the Oliwa singer said that all the songs she’s done have been bought.

However, she always adds some final touches to suit her style. But for now, she’s yet to pen herself a song as she’s just a singer.

“I want to make it clear that all of the songs I have sung, we buy them. I have never written a song for myself. The only thing I do is just add some things and retouch them,” she said.

Carol who does band music has been around for quite some time. She’s one of those musicians who knows how to sing but hasn’t yet gotten the appreciation she deserves.

She’s absolutely underrated. Apparently, she has been under different managers and bands having started in Golden Band formerly Eagles Production. Currently, she’s under Team No Sleep (TNS) which is managed and owned by Jeff Kiwa.

Additionally, Carol has a number of good songs such as Nyiga Wano, Kaweddemu, and Kamese Tambula among others. Her YouTube numbers are very impressive and better than most so-called big artists.

The singer added that she hopes this year she will do great things, especially under Jeff. Furthermore, she’s planning to make a debut concert later this year.
