The Kampala Deputy lord mayor, Doreen Nyanjura, has come out once again to express her negative take on marriage. While sharing an experience with her social media followers, she said that she would rather bear the load of a political struggle than marriage.

This comes after a certain married woman came to her for help. Apparently, this woman’s husband had disappeared minus telling the wife. She suggested that Nyanjura should call her husband and she did.

She introduced herself as one of the man’s side dishes. Without asking much details, he sent her transport to come and meet him where he was. He was actually even so delighted to hear from this side dish of his.

The deputy lord mayor then added that she’s yet to recover from the shock.

She just cleared the school fees of this woman’s children and bid farewell to her. This has therefore taught her to simply concentrate on the struggle.

“Hmmm a woman whose husband disappeared came to me for help, she suggested that I call her husband. I called & introduced myself as one of his girlfriends, he was so delighted & immediately sent me money for transport to find him where he was! I’m yet to recover from the shock.

I just cleared fees for the children of my fellow woman and said bye to her! Eeeh for now let me concentrate on the struggle,” said Nyanjura.

Her followers however told her that she’s always finding excuses to skip the marriage topic.

However, not all marriages are like that and fail. Despite each couple having their own problems, there are those whose marriages are thriving. And these are the majority but their stories will never make it to the public domain because they make no news.
