If Muhoozi Wants To Get Into Politics, He Should Get Out Of The Uniform – Mugisha Muntu

Gen. Mugisha Muntu, the president of Alliance For National Transformation Party, has said Muhoozi should first get out of the army Uniform if he wants to engage in politics.

Muntu says it looks like Muhoozi wants to get into the politics of the country. However, Muntu says Muhoozi should respect the army Uniform enough to first put it off.

“As I said sometime back, I don’t intend to discuss whatever Gen. Muhoozi says until he is out of that uniform. That army was built on a foundation of sacrifice and blood from men and women many years ago. If he wants to get into politics, he has to get out of the army uniform. They are playing around with a country of 45 million people.”

The former presidential candidate says the army uniform of a country needs to be respected. This is because an army doesn’t belong to an individual.

In fact, he emphasized that what we see happening around Gen. Muhoozi can’t happen in Kenya or Tanzania. He says people could go there and mess themselves up in politics but they don’t mess with the security of the country. However, all this is in Uganda.

Muntu added that a great mistake was made in 2004. Apparently, this is the cause of all the ongoing chaos in the country.

“We made a mistake in 2004. When the term limits were lifted from the Constitution, “it was a mistake; it was a mistake, it was a mistake.”
