I’m Ready For You – Dr Jose Chameleone Gives Green Light To Battle Bebe Cool

Legendary singer and East Africa’s finest, Dr Jose Chameleone has given the green light to his battle with fellow heavyweight singer, Big Size Bebe Cool. Through his Twitter page, Chameleone dared Bebe Cool to accept the battle.

This battle was proposed by the deputy speaker of Parliament, Hon Thomas Tayebwa following the climax of the Cindy-Sheebah battle.

“I am relishing a live performance battle between these two titans of Uganda’s music industry. Whoever can organize it has my full support. @BebeCoolUG @josechameleoni,” proposed Tayebwa.

Followers of the Ruhinda north MP flooded his comment section and almost drowned him like the Kampala floods.

Many wondered why a public servant like him is invested in music battles instead of service delivery. They went ahead to point out what they think is ill in the country and should be focussed on, instead of music battles.

Taking to his platform again, Tayebwa expressed shock at some of these comments. He said that some people think just because one holds a public office, they have no right to speak about certain things.

He added that people should know that civil servants are not robots.

Furthermore, the MP said that this clearly shows the neglect and stigmatization of the music industry which has a big contribution to the country’s GDP. This sector therefore shouldn’t be ignored.

Those suggested for the battle seem to be enticed by the idea with Chameleone accepting it first. Through his social media page, he tweeted, “BEBE, jangu blood!! I am ready!!!!!”

We await to see if the Wire Wire singer will accept the challenge in what would be Uganda’s biggest music concert ever.
