I’m Very Broke, Sometimes I Sleep Hungry – Ziza Bafana Cries Out

One of Uganda’s struggling musicians Kasendwa Richard popularly known as Ziza Bafana revealed that he is very broke. He can no longer meet his daily expenses.

The ‘Ndiisa Mpola’ Hit maker said coronavirus pandemic affected him so much, he can no longer takecare of his family.

Ziza Bafana says he used all his savings and it’s his friends who are supporting him currently.

The situation is abnormal for many of us. I am currently broke and friends pay most of my bills. Sometimes, i fail to get what to eat. The pandemic lockdown has hit me hard. I can no longer take care of my family members,” he said during an interview with a local TV station.

The pandemic has hit many artistes especially the upcoming ones. Others have been evicted from their rented houses because they are not working.

In similar news earlier reported by Newslex Point, the legendary Kadongo Kamu musician who began his career in 1987 Willy Mukabya appealed to the president of Uganda His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for financial help.

The ‘Abantu balamu bayina fitina’ Hit maker got sick and facing financial difficulties since the government announced a Covid-19 lockdown.. This has thrown tens of thousands out of their jobs.

In a video clip, Mr Mukabya shed tears whilst narrating his relationship with president Museveni.
