Is It True Coronavirus Does Not Affect Black People?

There are so many stupid, ridiculous conspiracy theories about black people not being able to get coronavirus.

Pay urgent attention! There are some people going around saying that the CoronaVirus (COVID-19) does not infect black people. This is ridiculous and I would go so far as to say racist. These sorts of ideas are putting hundreds of millions of lives at risk in Africa and across the world.

A few days ago, one of the world’s most famous and talented actors, Idris Elba tested positive for COVID-19. I wanted to share his YouTube video with you today.

Strive Masiyiwa via his Facebook page asked everyone reading this to listen and share this widely. And if you yourself have been peddling this dangerous lie, please have the courage to send out this link, on your WhatsApp group and correct the rumors urgently. It is not an exaggeration to say that your actions can save thousands of lives.

Storms don’t last forever, but the end of this very dangerous one depends on each of us doing our part.
