Uganda To Spend UGX 25 Billion To Block Corona Virus Threat

The government of Uganda has increased the opacity of quickly identifying any erupt case of the deadly Corona Virus. Though reports indicate that the country has not received any infected person, the government is set to block the virus.

Sadly at a moment, over 24,600 Corona Virus Threat cases were confirmed positive in more than 20 countries which include China and neighboring countries, 156 cases were sidelined infected in countries outside China, and 2 people died in Hong Kong and Philippines.

Besides that, the minister in charge of Health, Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng aired out on Wednesday that Uganda has come up with an idea to block entry and wide spread of the deadly virus.

Dr. Aceng further claimed that the ministry is ready to block this virus with only UGX 25 Billion as the sum set to handle the deadly epidemic. The plan will be supported by the government in general.

Introductory of screening at Entebbe International Airport especially to those traveling from China is seriously taking place and indeed the plan is working out.

“All travelers arriving from China or the 23 countries with confirmed cases will be required to provide their personal details including home address, telephone numbers and the next of kin’s details for purposes of follow up by the health workers and immigration officers carrying out screening” the Minister affirmed.
