Isma Olaxess Trashes Eddy Kenzo’s Grammy Nominated Song

Social media blogger, Isma Olaxess, has come out to trash singer Eddy Kenzo’s Grammy nominated song titled Gimme Love. Kenzo has been a dominant figure in the news for both the controversial side and the wins.

The achievements however have superceded the negatives but some people like Isma feel like Kenzo didn’t deserve some of these achievements. This is for instance the Grammy Award Nomination.

Kenzo saw the song he featured on with American singer Matt B listed for the Best Global Music Performance.

And just as some Ugandans claimed to not have known the song and trashed it after listening to it, same goes with Isma.

According to the blogger, the song is neither known in Uganda nor the US. It’s also lyrically lacking according to Isma’s analysis.

“When you see the song they nominated, it’s not known in Uganda or the US. Even lyrical-wise, the song is not good. Many Ugandans are still asking themselves how that song was nominated,” said Isma on Sanyuka TV.

However another panelist on the TV said that the Grammy nominating board doesn’t consider people who are popular of YouTube views. They simply consider the quality of the song.

Talent and artiste manager Emma Carlos Mulondo said that’s what makes Kenzo extraordinary and an achiever.

He doesn’t put a lot of ‘science ‘ in his music and he’s just a free styler. This therefore makes him unique from the rest.
