Jose Chakala Wins Best African And Ugandan TikToker In Global Awards Ceremony

Ugandan content creator and TikToker Jose Chakala popularly known as the Landlord has emerged the best TikToker in Uganda and Africa. This was at the Cinematic Vision Awards 2023 that happened in San Francisco, USA. Real names Joseph Musasizi, Chakala won the category of Best African Content creator 2023.

Despite his win, many people are wondering how Chakala ended up being nominated and above all winning this award. This is because his content is primarily in Luganda language which seems a bit difficult to beat English content creators.

Apparently the TikToker earlier this week flew to the USA for this awards ceremony. He went ahead to rally upon his friends, fans and all Ugandans to wish him well so that he bags this award. After bagging the award, Chakala went to his social media pages to show appreciation and also flaunt the award.

TikTok, a short video hosting service has propelled quite a number of Ugandans to fame. Musicians, comedians among others no longer need mainstream media to rise to fame.

A number of musicians such as Alien Skin, Tom Dee, Omutume Planet have TikTok to thank for their rise to fame. Comedians such as Jose Chakala, MickySeems2Funny, Sammie Manini among others have also used the app to the best of their advantage.

Without a doubt TikTok has changed the lives of many and led them to places they never thought of going to.
