Jose Chameleone Says He Will Contest Again In 2026

Uganda’s legendary singer and businessman Joseph Mayanja popularly known as Jose Chameleone is already addicted to politics. After his failure to succeed as the Kampala City Lord Mayor, the ‘Wale Wale’ Hit maker declared that he will contest again in 2026.

Jose Chameleone who always receives calls from people advising him to concentrate on music, said he was yet to reveal his manifesto with his contender Lukwago Erias who was re-elected for another term.

I’m going to use the next five years to study where I went wrong. By the next election, I’ll be strongly prepared,” he revealed in his latest interview.

The Leone island boss said his campaigns did not go on well due to covid-19 restrictions.

Meanwhile, in other news recently published by NEWSLEXPOINT.com, singer Chameleone lost the Kampala City Mayorship to Incumbent Erias Lukwago.

The ‘Valu Valu’ Hit maker who had earlier said Kampala people will vote him because of his inspiring music, has disappeared from public since he lost the seat.

Close sources informed our reporter that the singer is ready to leave the country for the United States of America where his wife and 5 children have been staying for nearly two years.
