These unverified reports were apparently revealed by social media blogger Ray Supasta.
And as local female singer Azawi sang in her “My Year” song, Nameere is surely reaping big from 2021.
A few days ago, news announced that she had started her own TV station. This is going to be based in Masaka and will be called TM-TV Uganda with a slogan of “Tusimbudde.”
If all is as it seems, she will be the first woman to own a TV station in Uganda. Final preparations are already underway.
Nameere has also been around the political and media scene for almost a decade now. She became popular with her “Life Stories” program in 2012 before joining Bukedde TV for the “MiniBuzz” and also worked on Urban TV.
Nameere, a lawyer by profession also worked on local radio station Beat FM and owns an NGO, Voices of the Pearl.
She is the daughter of the former Minister of Agriculture Vincent Bamulangaki Ssempijja, her political stand is a fat one too. She participated as the Youth MP for Kampala 2016-2021 but later pulled out of the race.
This was at the request of President Museveni to provide support to the NRM candidate.
The first female speaker of parliament, Hon Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga is her inspiration.
