General Kale Kayihura has handed over the IGP office to the newly appointed IGP Ochola and his duty Sabiiti.

Having been the police boss for 12 years, Gen Kale was sacked as the IGP by president Museveni.
Despite his sacking, former IGP has thanked President Museveni for believing in him and giving him an opportunity to be the Inspector General of Police.
Kayihura has been the longest serving IGP since Uganda’s Independence in 1962.
He said: “I never imagined that I would be the longest serving IGP.I must appreciate president Museveni.”
Kayihura said that he was sorry for any mistakes that he might have done while he was still the IGP.
“If there is anybody I stepped on while I was in office, I am sorry. It was not personal but I doing it for the good of my country,” he said.
Ochola the newly appointed IGP revealed that kale has been a factor in changing the Uganda police force.
