Kassiano Wadri Admits He Had A Gun In Arua

The newly elected Member of Parliament for Arua Municipalty, Hon Kassiano Ezati Wadri admitted he had a gun with him by the time they were arrested, according to the reports from Nile Post.

During an interview with NTV Uganda, Hon Kassiano declared that by the time he was arrested in Arua, it’s true he had a pistol and of which it’s fully registered and he has therefore been with it for more than twenty years.

I including 4 other people ran to the bathroom, but when the security officers broke the door and forced their way inside the room, i came out immediately and presented myself before declaring to them that i had a pistol on me,’’he said.

I told the security officers that i’ve been with my gun for more than 20 years, and both my figure prints and computer number are in Kibuli CID headquarters,’’Kassiano said’

I always renew the license of my gun at Arua police station every January and both the DPC and RPC are aware of it,’’he added.

President Museveni and security agencies accuse Kassiano and group for throwing stones on president’s convoy, thus breaking the hind screen of one of the cars.
