Lawyer Exposes The Situation Of The Suspect Who Was Badly Beaten By Security Operatives

The family of the recently arrested Yusuf Kawooya got to see him today at the Kireka detention facility where he’s been kept for charges no one knows about.

However, Kawooya who succumbed to a brutal arrest whereby he was ganged by several men with firearms who beat and injured him before being swayed away in an unknown taxi.

The family says all the security personnels they have so far met are unwilling to tell them the reason as to why Kawooya was arrested or disclose the names of those who were charged before the disciplinary committee and the results that came out of that committee.

It’s believed Yusuf is under the CMI of Kireka detention facility which is under col. Asiimwe. We are going to keep asking for Kawooya Yusuf’s release and be charged in a civilian court plus his tormentors be brought to book and punished for their deeds.
This clearly shows the evils that are associated within security agencies and the way they try to obstruct justice and shield the perpetrators once they are within their units.
