A Kampala Associated Advocate lawyer, Jet Tumwebaze told NBS TV that Kayihura is in good condition and looked after very well.

The former IGP was arrested on 13th June and incarcerated at Makindye Millitary  barracks.

Tumwebaze says Kayihura is well, sleeping in a self-contained house, not in a cell like some people keep on saying, ‘’he said.

He has not yet been interrogated by military neither has he recorded any statement.

Once you spend like 33 years working in military, a summon can’t shake you. Former IGP Kayihura is not guilty of any of the crimes Media has tagged against him,’’ he added.

Lawyer Tumwebaze said Kayihura has been granted unrestricted access to his family members and lawyers.
