Kenyan Cargo Truck Driver Dies In Uganda

Health Ministry officials together with police in Busia District have launched investigations under which a 35 year old Kenyan cargo truck driver identified as Mr Kinywa Wangware Samuel was found dead in Uganda.

On Saturday, the body of Mr Wangware, a resident of Njeri Kenya was found inside his truck cabin by his colleague Mr Njoroge Paul at Busitema checkpoint in Busia District.

Busia District police commander Mr Elepot Eriya said . initial investigations into Mr Wangware’s death is linked to natural causes , police was however working together with ministry of Health to establish the cause of his death.

As I was heading to Malaba border, I spotted his truck parked on the side and stopped to greet him, but unfortunately , I found him dead inside the cabin of his truck,’said Mr Njoroge.

Some other truck drivers said they saw him on Friday evening after parking his truck registration No: KAT 578T at Busitema revenue checkpoint whilst heading to Kenya’s capital Nairobi from Kampala, but he was heard complaining that he was not feeling well.
