During his speech at the State House on Saturday, Kenyan president Uhuru Kenyatta revealed that his government is trying all possible ways to reopen the economy in a way that won’t put people in danger.
We shall definitely reopen our economy but we must do it in a responsible way that will not put thousands of people in danger,’said president Uhuru.
We are in the middle of life and death, and the most important thing is to get back to normal by keeping our infections at the lowest rate,’he added.
The restaurants and other commercial eating points will be selected accordingly basing on who have shown observing the greatest level of health regulations conformance.
However, they’ll have to comply with measures and guidelines that prevent the spread of the deadly virus.
The Kenyan government has so far taken an immediate step to allow a few restaurants and commercial eating points in selected counties that exhibit the greatest levels of health regulations conformance and have the capacity to test employees to commit to minimal operations. While complying with measures that prevent the spread of covid-19,’said Kenyatta.
