VIDEO: Kenyan Student Found Dead In Her Room After Abortion

On Monday morning, a Kenyan student at Masinde Muliro University was found dead by fellow students in her room.

The 22 year old Kenyan student who is suspected to have carried out an abortion was found in a pool of blood.

According to one of her friends identified as Jane Kimoko, she has been in the 3^rd year pursuing a bachelors degree in Disaster management at Masinde Muliro University.

Some of her friends said she has been sick for the last 3 days and she promised to go to the health care centre for treatment.

Police has begun investigations to identify the real cause of her death.

It’s not the first time such an incident is happening, on 5^th May 2019, an 18 year old form three student in Nakuru County was arrested for attempted abortion.

She had gone to seek for help from an elderly woman. Abortion is an illegal practice in Kenya respectively and any woman found guilty is sentenced up to 14 years in prison.
