Kim Kardashian has recalled the ‘scary’ period when she looked after Kanye West as he battled the coronavirus early this year. Kanye West reported in February that he had contracted the deadly coronavirus ahead of worldwide lockdowns.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kim said caring for the rapper became a challenge. This happened because back in February, little was known about handling someone with the coronavirus disease.
‘’Kanye had it way at the beginning when nobody knew what was going on. It was so scary and unknown. I had my four babies and no one else in the house to help,’’ Kim said.
She said she had to help him change his sheets and get out of bed when he wasn’t feeling good. She said changing his sheets with a mask and gloves scared her all the time thinking she could do something wrong.
In July, presidential hopeful, Kanye West opened up about facing Covid-19 earlier this year which took many by surprise. He recalled how he had experienced chills when he contracted the virus.
He said in July: “Chills, shaking in the bed, taking hot showers, looking at videos telling me what I’m supposed to do to get over it.
“I remember someone had told me Drake had the coronavirus and my response was, Drake can’t be sicker than me!”
Drake later revealed he had tested negative for Covid-19.
Kim Kardashian thinks the pandemic has given everyone a ‘reset’ while in isolation at home for months. She says she is the type of person who respects the process and respects what is going on in the world.
‘’Maybe our planet needed a break. Maybe we all needed a break. Maybe that was the reset. I try to look at it that way,’’ Kim said.
