Michael Cohen: Trump Wants To Stay In Office For More Than 2 Terms

Michael Cohen, former Trump attorney says the president isn’t joking about ruling for over 2 terms. He said this on Wednesday evening after Donald Trump joking about the matter as he addressed the press.

‘’Donald Trump believes that he should be the ruler—the dictator of the United States of America. He actually is looking to change the constitution. When Donald Trump jokes about 12 more years…he is not joking. Donald Trump does not have a sense of humor,’’ Cohen said.

Cohen said people should understand that when Trump says 12 more years, he will try to change the constitution if he wins. He will change it for a third term, the fourth term, and so on like he said to many people. It is why Trump admires the Kim Jong Uns of the world according to Cohen.

During an uphill reelection campaign, the president continuously talked about the idea of a third term. He also looked to sow doubt in the fairness of the November elections. He said at a rally in Wisconsin last month that they would win four more years. He added and said they would thereafter go for another four years because the Democrats spied on his campaign.

Michael Cohen said the Trump Organization and the White House are like a cult with a culture that forbids challenging the president. He also pressed on how Trump managed to command loyalty in the Republican Party since he is the ‘cult leader’.

He said all these things as a way of sending out a warning against re-electing Donald Trump in the November elections.
