Michael said that he can’t be compared to the Pomini singer. This is because he does edutainment music while Bafana’s is obscene. He pointed out how songs such as Gyayo Ntekeyo and Pomini can’t be compared to his like Muko Muko or Nina Omukwano.
Besides, if they are to battle, they need a bigger venue that even has ambulances because Bafana might need one by the end of it.
Additionally, the Lido singer said that this battle would end Ziza Bafana’s time in Kampala. It would send him into a financial depression and retirement deep in the village.
On the other hand, the Friendly Match singer said that what Michael does is not dancehall. Also, they might get to the venue and he ends up playing instruments for the ex-DJ as he’s a versatile and multi-talented musician.
Apparently, he thought that promoters would bring the likes of Jamaican singers such as Busy Signal or Konshens for him to battle and not the Muko Muko singer.
There hasn’t been much interest from promoters concerning this battle. This is despite the back-and-forth throw of digs at each other by these two singers. It seems like a plot by the two to hype up the show and give it momentum.
A local promoter luckily called them to come to his offices. This is so that they can see how to come up with this battle.
