King Michael And Ziza Bafana Battle For King Of Dancehall Crown

Dancehall singers King Michael and Ziza Bafana almost got physical as they demanded one another to acknowledge that he’s the king of the dancehall. The two were performing at a certain hangout spot and Bafana went first.

When Michael’s turn to perform came, he found the Pomini singer on stage and demanded him to crown the Dancehall king.

The situation which started off as light chat almost went out of hand till Spice Diana came in between them to dilute it.

Apparently none could acknowledge that the other is better and it seems that they could be heading towards a battle. Well King Michael got into the industry first in the mid 2000’s going by the moniker, DJ Michael.

He spurned out a couple of hits but failed to become a household name. Along the way came other different Dancehall musicians such as the late, AK47, Coco Finger, Ziza Bafana among others.

It’s fair enough to say that Bafana has stood the test of time and has a bigger claim to the crown than any other musician. Besides, some of Michael’s songs have not heavily been dancehall.

They lie somewhere between afro music and dancehall. However, he largely believes that he’s the dancehall king and should therefore be revered by any artist that came after him.

Currently, battles are the only way to differentiate between who is who. And well maybe it very soon a battle to determine the ultimate owner of the crown.

Besides, the two had already hinted about such a move and it’s waited to see if any financier will pick up interest in it.
